Teknomat UK Ltd supplies both Espresso and Expresso machines, depending on your pronunciation of the word.
Our take on the meaning:
Expresso is a term commonly used by those who don't understand the term 'espresso'. Those who do understand the term espresso, sometimes use the word expresso, to describe an exceptionally bad attempt at making an espresso. An expresso machine is a steam powered machine that cannot produce ample pressure to make an espresso (usually steam machines can only produce about 1.4bar - approximately 21psi).
Expresso machines cost around £60, they are available at most major retailers and are almost always improperly labelled as espresso machines. An expresso machine just won't cut it, if you want the real deal for your cafe/restaurant/office then click here to view one of our ranges of Espresso Machines.
Expresso or Espresso?
Most other people in the trade's take on the word:
The word expresso is also known as a common variant spelling of the word espresso. It is said that the word expresso derived from Spanish language whereas the 'correct' spelling, espresso, originated from the Italian language. Therefore some argue that both spellings of the word are acceptable.
