White is the new Black

White is the new Black

It's official. White, as a colour, has never been more popular. That's why Teknomat UK is delighted to announce that the latest colour option for machines from its Synchro espresso range is White.

White has been a top runner in car colours since the late 'noughties' and it remains up there. According to some industry stats it is the number one choice for 2014 models, claiming as much as 25 per cent of the new car market share in 2013, knocking silver and black into joint second place with 18 per cent each. Of course, they don't just call it white; it's pearly white, brilliant white, pure white or pure brilliant pearly white if they can't quite make up their minds! But these embellishments of the description of the colour white actually do justice to the depth of colour that modern technology manages to give to the simple colour, white. Sometimes it looks almost blue, sometimes it looks like snow glistening on a mountain. Never does it look flat and boring. And the same is true of the white Synchro.

But white isn't just a colour. To many people, white means so much more, because of the values with which it is associated. In home electronics, white became the colour of choice, also in the 'noughties', when it became synonymous with high tech, modern equipment. It is also now a status colour, largely thanks to the activities of Apple where the predominance of white in its cutting-edge products - iPods, iPads, iBooks, iPhones, iMacs has added 'hip' to the checklist of ticks.

Status, luxury & quality. Black has long been associated with these values, but now white is too.

If you want to see the stunning new white Synchro, please come along to our showroom or visit us at Caffe Culture this year (May 14-15), stand H8.
