Choosing your grinder: Features of the Macap Manual, Automatic, Timer & Digital On Demand Grinders
such a wide choice of grinders available from Teknomat UK, do you know which
one best suits you/your customer’s needs?
As it sounds, the Macap Manual Grinder is operated manually. If the barista
wants to grind beans they press the button to start and again to stop - simple!
The Macap Automatic Grinder detects when the ground coffee chamber is low and
will automatically grind more coffee. The barista doesn’t need to check how
much ground coffee is left and will not run out mid service.
Using a Macap Timer Grinder the barista chooses when to grind coffee – usually
when it is low – turns the timer switch for a timed grind and when the time is
up the grinder will stop.
Digital on Demand: As it sounds, the barista grinds the coffee when it is
needed. The group handle is placed on the prongs at the front of the grinder
pushing in a button which will then grind the coffee directly into the group
handle ready for the shot of espresso to be brewed. This means the coffee is
freshly ground and not stored in a ground coffee chamber.
Teknomat UK is one of the UK’s
